Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using this website or placing an order. By accessing ScribblesCurated.com or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or place an order.

1. About Scribbles Curated

Scribbles Curated is a premium gifting company based in Fort Worth, Texas. We design, assemble, personalize, and deliver engraved gift boxes, custom gifts, and curated gifting solutions for individuals, businesses, and institutional clients.

  • Our website is hosted on Shopify. By using this website, you also agree to Shopify's Terms of Service.

  • These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of the website.

  • By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. Products & Customization

Handcrafted Products

Many Scribbles Curated products are handcrafted, personalized, engraved, or made to order. Due to the nature of these products, slight variations in wood grain, wood color, leather texture, engraving appearance, and other natural characteristics are expected and do not constitute defects.

Product Photography

Product photographs are provided for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly due to artisan craftsmanship, product availability, seasonal sourcing, and natural material variations.

Personalization & Engraving

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all names, dates, logos, messages, and personalization details submitted during checkout are accurate.

Scribbles Curated is not responsible for spelling errors, incorrect dates, or other mistakes provided by the customer.

Restricted Content

Scribbles Curated reserves the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any personalization or engraving request that contains offensive, inappropriate, unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringing content.

Product Substitutions

In the rare event that an item included in a gift box becomes unavailable, Scribbles Curated reserves the right to substitute a comparable item of equal or greater value while maintaining the overall quality and presentation of the gift.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • The price displayed at checkout is the final product price at the time of purchase.

  • Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments and other approved payment providers.

  • Applicable sales tax will be charged where required by law.

Bulk, Corporate & Institutional Orders

Corporate, realtor, university, wholesale, and bulk gifting projects may be invoiced separately.

For these orders:

  • A 50% deposit may be required before production begins.

  • Deposits become non-refundable once sourcing, design work, proof creation, or production has begun.

  • Remaining balances are due before delivery, shipment, or release of products unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment Security

Scribbles Curated does not store full payment information. All payment transactions are encrypted and processed securely through Shopify and its approved payment providers.

4. Order Processing & Production

Orders are processed in the order they are received.

Production begins once:

  • Payment has been received

  • Personalization details have been submitted

  • Artwork or proofs have been approved (when applicable)

Production timelines are estimates only and may vary based on product availability, order complexity, and seasonal demand.

Artwork & Proof Approval

For orders requiring artwork, logo placement, engraving layouts, or design proofs, customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all proofs before production begins.

Once a proof has been approved, Scribbles Curated is not responsible for errors, omissions, spelling mistakes, formatting issues, or design elements contained within the approved proof.

Any customer-requested changes after proof approval may result in additional charges and production delays.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only before production begins.

Once engraving, sourcing, customization, assembly, packaging, or production has started, orders cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Scribbles Curated ships throughout the United States using trusted carriers including FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other available shipping providers.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package size, weight, destination, and shipping method selected.

Local Delivery

Local delivery may be available for qualifying orders within the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Contact us for availability and pricing.

Carrier Responsibility

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Scribbles Curated is not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays

  • Carrier service interruptions

  • Weather-related delays

  • Lost packages

  • Delivery exceptions

  • Peak-season congestion

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

Additional fees may apply if a package must be redirected, returned, or reshipped due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

Returned Packages

If an order is returned to Scribbles Curated due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, refusal by the recipient, or any customer-related delivery issue, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees required to resend the package.

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon carrier pickup, shipment confirmation, or delivery confirmation.

International Shipping

Scribbles Curated currently ships only within the United States unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Final Sale Policy

Due to the personalized, engraved, handcrafted, and made-to-order nature of our products, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Personalized products

  • Engraved products

  • Custom gift boxes

  • Corporate gifting orders

  • Realtor closing gifts

  • Event gifts

  • University orders

  • Bulk orders

  • Wholesale orders

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

Natural Material Variations

Many Scribbles Curated products utilize natural materials such as wood, bamboo, leather, slate, and other handcrafted components.

Variations in grain pattern, color, texture, knots, markings, engraving contrast, and other natural characteristics are expected and are not considered defects or grounds for refund, replacement, or return.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify Scribbles Curated within 48 hours of delivery.

To submit a claim, please provide:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos of the product

  • Photos of the packaging

Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for review.

Upon review, Scribbles Curated may, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the item

  • Repair the item

  • Issue store credit

  • Issue a partial refund

  • Issue a full refund

Customer Satisfaction

If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us. While all sales are final, we strive to provide exceptional customer service and will review concerns on a case-by-case basis.

7. Food & Perishable Items

Some curated gift boxes may contain food products, beverages, snacks, or other perishable items.

  • All food products are sourced from reputable suppliers.

  • Customers are responsible for communicating known allergies or dietary restrictions before fulfillment.

  • Scribbles Curated is not responsible for allergic reactions, dietary concerns, or recipient sensitivities.

  • Food and perishable items are not eligible for return.

Damaged or spoiled food products must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and accompanied by photographic evidence.

8. Privacy & Data Use

Scribbles Curated collects customer information solely for the purpose of processing orders, providing customer support, improving services, and communicating order updates.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

By placing an order, customers consent to receiving transactional communications related to their purchase.

Our website utilizes cookies and similar technologies to improve website functionality and user experience.

9. Intellectual Property

All content displayed on ScribblesCurated.com, including but not limited to:

  • Photography

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Product descriptions

  • Graphics

  • Website design

  • Marketing materials

is the property of Scribbles Curated and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

Customer-Provided Artwork

Customer-submitted logos, trademarks, artwork, photographs, designs, and branding assets remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders.

Customer Representations & Ownership

Customers represent and warrant that they own or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and authorizations to use any logos, trademarks, artwork, photographs, designs, or other content submitted to Scribbles Curated.

Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scribbles Curated from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the use of customer-provided content.

Marketing & Portfolio Use

Scribbles Curated reserves the right to photograph, video record, and display completed products, custom engravings, gift boxes, packaging, company logos, business names, recipient names, and other order details for marketing, portfolio, advertising, website, social media, promotional, and educational purposes.

By placing an order, the customer grants Scribbles Curated permission to use images and videos of completed products for these purposes without additional compensation or approval.

Customers who do not wish to have their order, company name, logo, personalization, or other identifying information featured in Scribbles Curated marketing materials may opt out by submitting a written request to hello@scribblescurated.com prior to order fulfillment.

Upon receiving a valid opt-out request before fulfillment, Scribbles Curated will make reasonable efforts not to publish or share identifiable images or videos of the customer's order.

This opt-out request applies only to future marketing use and does not require Scribbles Curated to remove content that was published before the request was received.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scribbles Curated's total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question.

Scribbles Curated shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping delays

  • Carrier issues

  • Product variations

  • Lost business opportunities

  • Lost profits

  • Event disruptions

Force Majeure

Scribbles Curated shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failure to perform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, power outages, supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, governmental actions, pandemics, carrier interruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all website content, pricing, inventory, or availability information will be error-free at all times.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted under the laws of the State of Texas.

Any dispute arising from the use of this website or purchases made through Scribbles Curated shall be resolved exclusively in Tarrant County, Texas.

Scribbles Curated reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Changes apply prospectively and will not alter the terms applicable to orders already placed unless required by law. Continued use of the website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
